PGW Landlord Cooperation Program (LCP)

In the city of Philadelphia tenants are able to put the gas in their name. Unfortunately, Philadelphia can also place a lien on your property when a tenant defaults on their bill. 

To help mitigate your liability, the Landlord Cooperation Program is offered. This program will notify owners when PGW is asked to do the following:

•  shutoff gas (letting you know the tenants are moving)
• Notification if service work needs to be done 
• Notification of collection-related activity
